We are on the lookout for a Test Engineer Coffee Machines to strengthen our team! Are you looking for a next step in your career and keen to join our ambitious Global Research and Development function based in Utrecht, the Netherlands? Do you want to be part of the team that is responsible for the of professional and retail coffee machines and concepts?
Do you have a background in Mechanical Engineering and are you exited to develop appliances for coffee categories like Single-serve, Liquid & Bean-to-cup? Then you might be the Test Engineer Coffee Machines we are looking for!
Your role in more detail:
- Manage and perform test experiments on coffee machines and appliance concepts
- Create and define appropriate test protocols appropriate to various tasks and technologies
- Collaborate closely with Engineers and support them in writing requirements and reviewing engineering solutions
- Setup demonstrators that bring technological developments into the brewer arena
- Manage the coffee systems lab area, test equipment & brewers
- Liaise with external partners and suppliers to supplement or support project deliverables

Our ideal candidate would have:
- Approximately 3 years of experience in testing of food systems or home appliances.
- A higher education in mechanical engineering, is skilled in mechanical engineering and fluid mechanics.
- Experience in collaboration with external development- and manufacturing partners (3rd party)
- The skills to navigate through technically ambiguous challenges. Devising and executing tests and experiments to solve problems
- Ability to independently deliver results, draw conclusions and write technical reports
- Ability to understand and apply statistical methods used in data analysis and problem-solving
- Fluent in English at a technical level
